Bunzl has recently made some meaningful changes to the way it gives back to the communities in which it operates and beyond. Some of these initiatives include consolidating its ongoing partnerships with charitable causes, as well as other contributions directly related to the Covid-19 pandemic. No matter what the impetus, it’s important to highlight the efforts of Bunzl colleagues to help make the world a better, healthier, safer place, not just during the Covid-19 pandemic, but on an ongoing basis.
Bunzl APAC has also delivered financial support to a charity called The Smith Family, whose aim is to provide disadvantaged pupils access to a better education. The donation ensured children received uniforms, school books, tutoring and other support. Bunzl sponsors 20 pupils in total across various states in Australia, for 12 months.
The PPE included donations of more than a million face masks to organisations across all BNA communities in the US, Canada and Mexico to assist in the pandemic response.
It’s clear that all the charitable actions, led by one person or collectively, are successful largely thanks to the many generous and caring individuals who make up the Bunzl family worldwide.
