Senior independent director

Bunzl plc, the international distribution and outsourcing Group, today announces that Peter Johnson has been appointed as the Senior Independent Director, in line with the Combined Code on Corporate Governance, with immediate effect.

Mr Johnson has been a Non-Executive Director since 2006 and replaces Jeff Harris who retired from the Board on 28 February 2010.
