Acquisitions

Acquisitions are a key element of our growth strategy aiding the Group's geographic expansion as well as extending our product offering and customer base.

In 2008 we spent circa £125m on acquisitions with the Group making investments in six countries including a significant first step into Brazil. We also announced two acquisitions in Spain and one acquisition in each of the UK, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands.

We are continually looking for and evaluating future acquisition opportunities, so if you operate in our chosen markets and would consider becoming part of the Bunzl Group, we would like to hear from you.
